VoxAudio Terms of Use and Digital Content Purchase Terms
These terms govern the use of VoxAudio and purchases of digital audiobooks, subscriptions and gift certificates.
Swiss law applies without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived by contract, including applicable European Union consumer rights.
1. Operator and contact
The service operates under the VoxAudio name. Current contact details are on the Contacts page.
Before paid orders are accepted, the operator's full legal name and postal address must be published as required by Swiss e-commerce law.
2. Digital content
VoxAudio supplies digital audiobooks, protected streaming, subscriptions, previews and digital gift certificates. No physical carrier is supplied.
3. Contract formation
Before ordering, the user must be shown the digital product, total price, currency and applicable terms and be able to correct input errors.
A contract is concluded only after an explicit order carrying an obligation to pay. The terms are available before purchase and can be saved. The order is confirmed electronically without undue delay.
4. Prices and payment
Prices on voxaudio.ch are shown in EUR including applicable taxes and mandatory charges where due. The total amount is shown before confirmation.
Card payments are processed by an international payment provider. VoxAudio does not store full card numbers.
5. EU withdrawal right
Where EU consumer law applies, distance contracts generally carry a 14-day withdrawal period.
For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, supply may begin during that period only after separate prior express consent to immediate performance and acknowledgement that the withdrawal right may be lost once supply begins under applicable law.
Swiss law itself does not provide a general statutory 14-day e-commerce withdrawal right.
6. Failure to supply and lack of conformity
Mandatory consumer and warranty rights are not limited by these terms. Where EU digital-content rules apply, remedies may include bringing content into conformity, a price reduction, termination and refund.
7. Permitted use
Access is for personal non-commercial use. Unauthorised copying, redistribution, protected-link sharing and circumvention of technical protection measures are prohibited.
8. Governing law
Swiss law applies. Mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights of the consumer's habitual residence remain unaffected where applicable.
